Citrus heritage and a wide range of homes

Riverside helped launch California's citrus industry, a story preserved at the California Citrus State Historic Park, and the city is also home to UC Riverside and the landmark peak of Mount Rubidoux. Its houses range from early twentieth-century homes near downtown to postwar neighborhoods and newer communities on the edges of the city. That range is exactly why a walkthrough matters before any price is quoted. Plaster walls, older plumbing and earlier remodels in an older home call for a different plan than a newer stucco house.

Kitchens and bathrooms

Kitchens and bathrooms are the rooms that wear out first. Our New Kitchen in ADU project shows a bright, durable kitchen built for daily use, and our primary bath shower and walk-in shower projects show tile and glass work finished to a high standard. We help you decide what to keep and what to change, plan the layout, plumbing and lighting together, and handle the permits with the City of Riverside so the work is documented when you eventually sell.

ADUs across the county line

Our office is in Redlands, across the county line in San Bernardino County, but Riverside is part of our everyday service area. California's ADU laws apply here as in every city, and the City of Riverside's planning and building staff review ADU and garage conversion plans. If your property is in an unincorporated area with a Riverside mailing address, Riverside County handles the permits instead. We sort that out at the start so the plans go to the right office.

Whole-home renovations

When a Riverside house needs more than one room updated, a whole-home renovation is often more efficient than a series of separate projects. Doing the plumbing, electrical, flooring and paint in one coordinated effort avoids tearing out new work later, and it lets the whole house share one consistent design. We plan the phases so you know when each part of the home will be finished.
