Two-story renovation
Whole-home remodel
San Bernardino is the county seat and the largest city in our service area. We remodel whole homes, add ADUs and room additions, and update kitchens and bathrooms for San Bernardino homeowners.
San Bernardino has been a crossroads for a long time, from its railroad history to the junction of I-10, I-215 and SR-210 today, and its housing shows every era of that growth. Older homes near downtown sit a short drive from postwar tracts and newer houses toward the foothills and the university district around Cal State San Bernardino. That range means no single remodeling playbook works here. An older house might need a full update of its systems along with new finishes, while a newer home may only need a kitchen or a bathroom brought up to date.
Our two-story renovation project, the Spanish-style home on our homepage, is the kind of full transformation many San Bernardino houses are ready for. A whole-home remodel lets you fix the floor plan, update the electrical and plumbing, and finish every room to one standard in a single project instead of chasing repairs one at a time. We plan the sequence carefully, from structural and systems work first to cabinets, tile and paint last, so the budget goes where it matters.
California's ADU laws apply in San Bernardino too, and a backyard unit or a converted garage can house family or create rental income. The City of San Bernardino's planning and building divisions review the plans, and some neighboring areas fall under county jurisdiction. We confirm which applies before drawing anything. Room additions are another way to grow, and our ADU and back yard upgrade project shows how new living space can come with a better outdoor area.
Every San Bernardino project starts the same way: a walkthrough of the property, a conversation about what you want and what you can spend, and a written scope. We look for problems that should be solved first, such as drainage, an old electrical panel or past unpermitted work, because ignoring them makes a remodel cost more later. Then we put together a plan that sequences the work sensibly and keeps you informed at every stage.
Yes. We work for owners updating a rental between tenants as well as families remodeling the house they live in. The scope and finishes change, but the licensing, permits and quality do not.
It depends on the parcel. Some addresses with a San Bernardino mailing address are actually in unincorporated county areas. We check your parcel before planning so permits go to the right office.
